Ginny Williams
Principal

Ginny’s unique ability to see the big picture when others may not gives her the edge needed in the communications world of fast-paced ideas, branding and strategic planning. Her creative mind works overtime as she looks at all options needed to help clients reach their goals. Ginny uses her diverse marketing experience to expand Webb’s client base and works with specific clients - from oil companies to functional foods to non-profit foundations, where her expertise in strategic planning and branding is invaluable. Before joining the Webb Team she held marketing management positions in retail sales, radio, commercial and residential real estate, hotels and health care. Her experience ranges from the corporate world with the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) to non-profit organizations such as Allosource. She has been the client and values that perspective.

New business development and administrative oversight are two of Ginny’s primary areas of responsibility at Webb PR. Over her 15 years with the firm she has spearheaded many of the ideas that now are valued parts of the Webb culture. When you add up a “nap and nurse” room for new mothers (or worn out PR staff), flexible work schedules, a wine bar for TGIF celebrations or that brainstorming session that needs an extra kick and an annual planning retreat that staff looks forward to all year you start to understand what she brings to the company as a principal. Ginny was a single working mom for a number of years and understands how important balance and fun in the workplace is to her valued staff. And, don’t think her contributions go unnoticed. Webb PR staff nominated, and The Denver Business Journal awarded, the firm the honor of being one of Denver’s “Best Places to Work” four years in a row.

But don’t let that hard-working mentality fool you… Ginny knows how to wind down with a good glass of wine while listening to her eclectic collection of music. And, after her 38 years of experience, raising her family and going into business as an entrepreneur, she has two simple rules: “Never make the same mistake twice” and “keep an open mind.”

Ginny is also adamant about the importance of community volunteerism. She has served on the board of The Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inter-Faith Community Services, and she has poured her time into fundraising for higher education scholarships at the University of Colorado’s Denver campus. Ginny is a past president of their alumni association there and a former Trustee for the University of Colorado Foundation serving all four campuses in Colorado. She is also a recipient of CU’s Alumni Appreciation Award. She is a graduate of the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota.
