Carolyn Myers
Account Manager
Once a Washington, D.C. insider, Carolyn is Webb PR’s resident politico.
Carolyn started her career in politics when she joined the 2004 presidential campaign as a volunteer coordinator and all round “go to” girl. She swiftly moved from intern to paid staffer and completed the campaign as the deputy communications director for Colorado. She quickly learned what it meant to burn the midnight oil in order to do whatever it took to get a job done.
Following the campaign, Carolyn was hired as U.S. Senator Wayne Allard’s Colorado Press Secretary, and enjoyed getting to see the state of Colorado as she set up and implemented statewide media tours and helped to organize town meetings. She quickly moved up and moved out to Washington D.C. where, as Press Secretary, she became the Senator’s main media contact and spokesperson.
Now at Webb PR, Carolyn’s experience is paying off. The staff often relies on her ability and know-how when it comes to assisting them with press conferences, pitching the media and coordinating project work.
